In 2019, the book «9. Diari de l'expedició santanyinera al voltant de Mallorca» edited by Sebastià A. Adrover Vicens. Different authors of different types participate in it, speaking about the diverse and varied aspects that are discussed in the diary found by the editor.

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the expedition, organized by 9 members of the "Reial Gremi d'Assadolladors", members of "S'excursionista santanyinera".

The Maritime Museum of Mallorca wants to join the event and wants to promote a return to Mallorca, to commemorate the milestone. Brave not because of the journey itself, but because of what it brings together around culture, expressed in music, architectural and landscape heritage, 
which, added to gastronomy, music and popular arts, tell us a worldview of a disappeared landscape, of which there are traces that we can still identify. 

June 25, 2024
We will depart with the reading of the initiatory manifesto of the first journey around Mallorca, documented by people originally from the island. 

July 26, 2024
We will start the journey from Cala Figuera, and we will visit 6 ports: Porto Cristo, Cala Ratjada, Alcúdia, Port de Sóller, Andratx and Palma. All of them will be visited by a group of traditional boats, the true protagonists of the tour, which will remember the shapes and way of sailing of the San Miguel, the llaüt, wooded with lateen sail, which made that first tour possible. 

Scheduled activities
A set of activities have been planned that will accompany the group of boats and that will show the rich heritage that we have in the Islands. We will be able to enjoy conferences on fishermen's guilds, guided tours of Pollentia, and electronic and popular music concerts at the Drac and Artà caves. 

A program that mixes tradition and modernity around the culture and heritage of the island, which is constantly changing, but does not want to lose its origins.
